Some of the Highlights

The Forbidden City was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming dynasty to the end of the Qing dynasty—the years 1420 to 1912. It is in the center of Beijing, China, and now houses the Palace Museum.

The Tiananmen Square

The Tiananmen Square protests of 1989, commonly known in China as the June Fourth Incident, were student-led demonstrations in Beijing in 1989.

Secret Markets & Shopping Adventures

Secret markets and shopping adventures include the silk, pearl and fur markets..To properly bargain in Beijing is truly an art form, and the techniques for achieving the lowest possible price are endless. The recipe of a good deal is a nice mixture of charm, confidence and patience. Don’t worry about disappointing someone. In the big markets, the salespeople are good at using the tourists’ insecurity and they often pretend to be disappointed whatever the price suggested is. Try to be cheerful, smile and joke a little, then everything usually works out fine. If the salesperson would really lose money by accepting your offer, he/she wouldn’t even discuss it with you.

The Great Wall

Perhaps the most recognizable symbol of China and its long and vivid history is the Great Wall of China. It actually consists of numerous walls and fortifications, many running parallel to each other. Riding up to the top of the wall with the cable cars gives you more time to take photos and explore its spectacular view. There is a toboggan or slide rail with a total length of 1580 meters for your way down from the top of the Great Wall. At a top speed of it can reach 30 km/h makes it an interesting experience . We will have a grand Barbecue dinner on top of the great wall to finish off an amazing days adventure.

The Summer Palace

The Summer Palace an imperial garden in Beijing – first built in 1750, largely destroyed in the war of 1860 and restored on its original foundations in 1886 – is a masterpiece of Chinese landscape garden design. The natural landscape of hills and open water is combined with artificial features such as pavilions, halls, palaces, temples and bridges to form a harmonious ensemble of outstanding aesthetic value. Enjoy the dragon boat ride around the Palace as you can sit back and enjoy the amazing view.
